Surface Trip Flare: Intruder detection light tripwire, used to activate a lightstick

The detection light tripwire is used to trip a 6” ultra high intensity orange lightstick (15cm)Developed by the U.S. Army to facilitate intruder detection, the tripwire replaces pyrotechnical accessories that are sensitive to damp and that can cause fires to break out.

The lightstick is attached to the plate of the tripwire. When the tripwire, connected to the tripping lever, is pulled, it activates the high intensity lightstick.
